This past weekend we celebrated my daughter's fourth birthday, and just like any other parent, I guess I have to say that time sure does fly. I can't believe that my baby is already 4 years old. She is such a smart, beautiful, happy and healthy little one, with lots of attitude to boot.
We decided to have her a small party at our house this year (more to come on that later). Here is the invitation I made for her. It did have her name in a very nice font on the top and all the info typed in where the lines are (of course without the lines).
She designed her entire party, and let me tell you, she is a very particular 4 year old, and when I tried to get her to change her mind on anything, she was not having it. She chose her colors, what she would have on the dessert table, how she wanted her hair, what she wanted to do at the party, etc., etc., etc. I couldn't believe how much she was involved with the planning. It made me really happy that she wanted so many cute things and that she is old enough to decide what she wants, but on the other hand, it was a little difficult planning a party with her seeing as how she wouldn't budge on some of her details.
Overall, it turned out fun. My house was pretty much destroyed by the 14 children who came, which were all age ranges from 1-13. I will touch more on the party details and recipes I used in upcoming posts. Happy Birthday to my wonderful baby girl, and may God continue to bless you and allow us to see you have many, many more Happy Birthdays!!!
