  2. My most memorable one, and one I want to forget, was last year because shortly before that day my parents' house burned down and they had to stay with us. The staying with us part was not an issue at all. We would do anything for them. It was the house burning down and dealing with the aftermath of it all that was the worst. We didn't really have a valentine celebration because we were too busy dealing with it all. It was just a really bad time.

  4. I guess the Valentine's Day that was most memorable to me is the one where my husband found a sitter, took me out to eat and while we were waiting for a table (over 1 hour wait) he took me to my favorite store, nearby and let me pick out a few things I wanted! (we don't have a lot of extra money so to pick out a few things was a big deal to me!)
